Biography

From a young age, the Egyptian designer Nadine Sherif has been drawn to gems and jewellery, believing not only in their intrinsic beauty, but also in the personal meaning behind each jewellery piece.
Nadine Sherif was born in Cairo, she earned her degree with honors in Architectural Engineering, and she spent a year assisting and teaching design courses at the university. She also worked as a designer in interior and landscape projects.
Being a freelance designer, she had a free time to research, brain storm, and start sketching for her first jewellery pieces. The main aim in her jewellery designs is to combine art with its beauty and unlimited imagination with the elements and tools of applying an architectural design helping to attain a perfectly finished and a fully detailed piece of art.
Nadine's designs evolved from the love of adornment. In 2017, Nadine was named one of the winners of Cairo Design Award (CDA), which was established for the first time in Egypt to reveal the young and creative designers in different fields.
After the CDA Award, and driven by her innate love for the world of art and fashion, She decided to leave her career as an architect to follow a dream and face a new and passionate adventure. Her unique artistic designs were created through the hands of the most talented Egyptian jewellery artisans, who brought Nadine’s romantic and boundless imagination to life through their skills, telling her story through jewels that truly became a work of art.
Each piece, by Nadine Sherif, is the result of a thorough process, a journey through the world of art and architecture, between echoes of the past and future projections. The capability to transfer the most varied experiences, dreams and perspectives into the jewels, characterizes Nadine’s collections with an unmistakable mark of identity and uniqueness.
